Identifying Acid Reflux Causes

Everyone will have experience acid reflux and it happens quite unexpectedly.

Most of us do not give much attention to it as it does not stay long unless someone suffers from a long term and frequent experienc of acid reflux.

Acid reflux causes one to 'spit up' a small amount of their food due to their malfunction of the esophagus muscle known as the LES to maintain the pressure to hold the contains of the stomach from travelling upwards back to the esophagus. 

People most likely experience acid reflux disease symptoms especially if they had taken acidic food such as sour, citrusy fruits, hot and spicy meals or caffeine.  Certain body movement are acid reflux causes such as bending forward, lie down, lift heavy objects or take a nap right after a large meal. 

Acid reflux causes one to experience heartburn or simply a hot and burning sensationin the throat or chest. The known type of food that are identified as acid reflux causes include tomato based sauces, citrusy fruits, peppers, caffeine and carbonated drinks.

It does not mean that these are acid reflux food to avoid but you can take lesser amount of it as it is all stimulates the stomach to produce more acid. 

One of the known acid reflux causes is overeating. Overeating overworks the stomach and reduces the stomach's efficiency to digest resulting to food being pushed back to the esophagus. 

Other factors that are found to be acid reflux causes includes smoking, alcohol consumption, allergies to certain medication and wrong body positioning after taking heavy meals. There are also some people who belief that being overweight is also one of the acid reflux causes.

Most of the acid reflux causes can relate to our bad habits and poor diet monitoring.The simplest way to cure acid reflux is by changing our behaviour towards our health. 

It is becoming more and more frequent that people are neglecting the importance of good dieting due to the lifestyle where almost everyone are working long hours and focuses more on their career and building their wealth rather than their health. 

We can do so by eating right and moderately, regularly exercise, and practice discipline such as avoiding eating heavy meals before bedtime and not skipping meals. Acid reflux is an uncomfortable state which is also unpredictable. Not only among adults, acid reflux in babies is more common during the first two months. Acid reflux causes a lot of trouble not only to the infants but troubles to the parents as their child would require a lot of attention.
